Diving is not cheap so I expect this level of service. This is something you can expect from an owner with Canadian business experience. If you like to dive with complete, reliable and personalized service, I think you will like NC. I chatted with several divers who dove with other operations and it seems service oriented diving is not very common on the island. We also did an enjoyable Sunday trip to Caye Caulker to see the famous Split Bar and Coco King?.very cool. Their small gofast boat for close diving is in great shape with a brand new 150 Yamaha that wisks small groups to most dive sites in under 10 minutes. He really enjoys finding the wildlife you would like to see at many local sites. Captain Luis has very detailed knowledge of the waters having boated there most of his life. Additional nice details I noticed were plenty of water and snacks between dives, pre-dive smoothies, taking care of your cameras and the insistence that you hand up your tank when boarding to make things just that much easier. They want you to concentrate on enjoying the scenery above and below the water while they take care of your gear and daily logistics. I have dove on many dozens of boats in my 21 years of diving and I can honestly say Neptune's Cove is true concierge diving. Captain Luis asked my preferences on the first dive and from then on my gear was taken care of each day. Unless I wanted to, I did not need to set up or tear down my gear the rest of the week. Upon arrival to the shop the staff asked what and where i wanted to dive, checked over my gear and provided me with a secure storage spot for the remainder of the week. They booked my local flight and recommended accommodations in just a few Emails. Dive shop owner Steve and manager Gil were of great help from my first contact in November. As a first-time visitor to Belize I had no local knowledge so I was relying on the staff at Neptune's Cove for recommendations on what type of diving was best for my 8 day visit. Just returned from a week of diving in lovely Ambergris Caye. I hope my comments help you have a good holiday in Belize. If you are planning a trip to Ambergris Caye, Belize and need travel, tour, snorkel, diving, or any other advice, I strongly recommend Steve, Gil, and the crew at Neptune's Cove. ![]() Quality service like we enjoyed from Neptune's Cove does not come along every day.especially in Central America. I have attached a couple of my favorites. Steve even joined us for a few dives and took hundreds of pictures that he posted to the cloud for us to enjoy. They have a handy rinse barrel and lockers for us to store our gear, All their dive gear is new and top quality. We were greeted every morning at the shop with a freshly blended smoothie. We did 14 dives while there and when I hinted about a particular dive master I liked, Steve immediately arranged all our dives with him (Marcos). I found them very interested in our satisfaction. It was almost too good to be true.but it all went perfectly. Their services went far beyond just a dive shop and before long they had arranged my beach front condo, my island-hopper flight, and all my diving.all with a nice discount applied to it. Communication was fast, efficient, and professional. The owner, Steve, and his shop manager, Gil, were like no other shop I had dealt with in the past. When I started the usual email communication with Neptune's Cove I quickly learned this was not your usual dive shop. My wife and I wanted to try someplace a little different for this year's dive trip so we chose Ambergris Caye in Belize and then I started to hunt for a dive shop.just like I have done for many of our Caribbean vacations over the years. ![]()
